Crouzet, Joseph (1817-37)
Crouzet, Joseph, Gt Titchfield St, Fitzroy Sq., London, carver and gilder (1817–37). At no. 107 in 1817 but by 1820 at no. 11. On 5 February 1823 Crouzet took out insurance cover on this latter address for £1,000 of which £300 was for stock. In 1827 carried out work in the Gallery or New Corridor at Windsor Castle. He submitted an estimate of £719 13s for work on picture frames and was employed to broaden and enrich the frames of seventy-two Italian paintings which had been acquired in 1762 by George III.
