Crompton, Thomas (1800-13)

Crompton, Thomas, 49 and 50 Essex St, Strand, London, cm and u (1800–13). In 1803 took out insurance cover of £999 and in 1810, £900. In the latter year £750 was in respect of stock, utensils and goods in trust. No. 50 Essex St is never recorded in trade directories and is not mentioned initially in the fire insurance records.
