Crackles, Richard

Hull, Yorkshire; cabinet maker, upholsterer and broker (fl.1803–37)

In 1803 Crackles was listed at at Steeple Entry with a shop in Trippett Street; by 1806 he was situated at Myton Walls;at 16 Blackfriargate (1810); and 7 Waterworks Street (1816).

From 1823 he was at two address in Chariot Street: no. 28 (1823); and no. 27 (1828).

He was recorded at Garden Place, Sykes Street (1831), the same location as Robert Crackles who was probably his successor.

Probably the same Richard Crackles at 4 Dorset Street, Manchester Square, London working as an upholsterer and cabinet maker (1835–37).
