London; upholder (fl.1735–1786)

Son of Henry Cope of Langer, Nottinghamshire, grazier. Apprenticed to William Cope 2 February 1725 and free of the Upholders’ Company by servitude 4 February 1735.

Took as apprentices Thomas Scott (1746–54); Samuel Garton (1756–69); James Porter (1761–86); and Thomas Williams (1761).
