Shrewsbury, Shropshire; cabinet maker and upholder (fl. 1786–1835)

At Wyle Cop from 1786 to 1814.

He was listed in Holden’s London and County Directory of 1809-11 as a cabinet and chair maker, Wyle-cop.

In 1835–36 at Princes Street. The long span of trading might suggest that there was more than one James Cooper.
