The son of a freeman Blacksmith, Abraham Cooke, apprenticed to George Friend on 18 November 1715.

Made free by servitude on 5 December 1722.

Cooke bound John Holmes as an apprentice in 1727; he was made free in 1738 [Guildhall Library, Upholders’ Company records].
