Conder, Samuel

Sutton Court, Threadneedle Street, London; upholder (fl. 1714–27)

Apprenticed to Robert Roades of York and admitted a freeman of the London Upholders’ Company by redemption on 3 February 1713/14.

On the 14 December 1714 he purchased insurance on his house for £450 [The London Archives (TLA), Hand in Hand MS vol. 13, p. 622].

Bound John Goodchild as an apprentice in 1719; made free 1726–27 [Guildhall Library (GL), Upholders’ Company records].
