In business at Calton Street and later 57 Frederick Street in the mid-nineteenth century. 

The firm’s trade label is illustrated [p. 55, pl. 45B]; another style of label recorded on the back of a rococo revival looking glass frame is printed in brown with a pair of cherubs holding a scroll inscribed ‘CICERI & Co/Decorators/CARVERS & GILDERS/Mirror Manufacturers and/Plate Glass Merchants/ DEALERS IN PICTURES AND/ARTICLES OF VIRTU/57 FREDERICK STREET/EDINBURGH’.
