Chenery, Benjamin (1743-59)

Chenery, Benjamin, near the Cornhill, Ipswich, Suffolk, carver (1743–59). Moved from London and in 1743 advertised his ability to carve all Sorts of Chimney Pieces, Picture-Frames, Glass Frames, Sconces, Table-Frames for Marble Slabs … in the newest Taste’.
