Advertised in the Norwich Mercury, 13 May 1786.
In 1810, Cann was one of the Norwich firms of cabinet makers who signed an agreement of an advance of 12.5 per cent, in addition to the Norwich Price Book, on journeymen’s wages after negotiations, following their devaluation caused by inflationary pressures due to the war with France.
Probably father of James Cann (1801-1818).
