Buskin, William

London, Freeman of the Drapers' Company and by trade a carver, gilder and looking-glass manufacturer (fl. 1756–90)

Addresses given at Aldermanbury (1756–62) when in partnership with Michael Dunn(s) at 63 Snowhill (1774–77). Also trading alone at Wellclose Square by 1790.

In 1756 Buskin employed two non-freemen for three months and by 1762 only one. In 1776 he employed twelve for six months.

Buskin advertised the end of partnership with Dunn in the London Gazette, 28 March 1780 [The London Archives (TLA), City Licence books, vols 1, 3 and 9; Wills, Looking-Glasses].
