Brown, James

Edinburgh, Scotland; wright (fl.1759)

James Brown was one of the partners in the Edinburgh Upholstery Company and was one of the purchasers of James Cullen’s share when the latter left the Company. Several wrights of this name are listed in Bamford (1983) but it is not clear which is the man concerned here.
