Broughton, Henry

London; upholder (fl. 1754–63)

The son of the Gentleman, Thomas Broughton of Thetford, Norfolk, apprenticed to a London Merchant Tailor, William Merrifield in 2 October 1754; and John Iliffe on 10 May 1759.

He was admitted a freeman of the Upholders’ Company by servitude on 3 February 1763 [Guildhall Library (GL, Upholders’ Company records].
