Advertised in Leeds Intelligencer, 29 September and 6 October 1808 for a ‘Person to act as Foreman in a shop where a number of Hands are employed’. Declared bankrupt, Leeds Mercury, 24 December 1814, and 29 April 1815; and Leeds Intelligencer, 2 January 1815, but trading again by 1817. [D]
