Maker of a Windsor-type armchair in beech, elm and yew exhibited by Ernest Gimson at the Arts & Crafts Exhibition Society, London, in 1890 (cat. no. 337) and now at the Leicester Secular Society. This piece was made to a design of Ernest Gimson, who had seen a similar example at Ditcheat Manor House Inn, Somerset, which he had sketched in 1886.
