Bratton, Richard snr. & jnr.

Shrewsbury, Shropshire; cabinet maker and upholsterer (fl.1796–1881)

Richard Bratton (b.1779) was in Wyle Cop, 1796-1840 [Shrewsbury directories].

He bound Richard Price as an apprentice on 10 December 1796 and was a member of the United Grand Lodge of England Freemasons, Shrewsbury from 1816. He died in 1835.

His son, also Richard Bratton (b.1810) was listed as a cabinet maker in Shrewsbury 1851-1881 [census records] and died in 1893.
