Sheffield, Yorkshire; cabinet maker and upholsterer (1774–1814)

Recorded with William Brailsford at High Street (1774); alone there (1787); and at George Street (1797–1814), no. 3 (1797).

T. & W. Brailsford were employed at Chatsworth in the mid 1770s [Burlington, June 1980, p. 413]. 

Thomas purchased a Sun Insurance policy on 19 July 1792 for £400, of which £300 accounted for utensils and stock [London Metropolitan Archive (LMA), Sun MS vol. 387, p. 342].
