Took out Sun Insurance policies in 1778 for £600 on his house; and in 1783 for £1,000, £180 accounting for utensils, stock and goods. A frame has been recorded bearing a printed label on the back board inscribed ‘BRADSHAW. Carver, Gilder and Picture Frame Maker, No.6 James Street Covent Garden London. Makes all sorts of Ornamental Looking Glass Frames, Jerendoles, Cornices, Mouldings for Rooms with every other Article in that Branch of Business. Likewise Sells all sorts of Prints neatly Framed and Glazed. NB. Venetian Window Blinds’ (illus. Gilbert (1996), figs 152 and 153).
