Mentioned in a letter from Richard Bateman to Mr Fallowes, his agent, at Shobdon Ct, near Leominster, Herefs., of 5 November 1739: ‘My brother Jemmy has desired me to inquire of you whether you have sent up to Mr. Bradshaw in Sohoe Square a yellow Cloth bed of his with the bedding that came from Bath.’ [Herefs. RO, Bateman letters, G39/III/E/5] Probably either George Smith Bradshaw or William Bradshaw.
