Recorded in partnership with Edward Boore at 34 High St, 1832–39. [D; poll bks] Sale of stock in trade, possibly on bankruptcy, of Messrs, C. & E. Boore, ‘Cabinet makers, Chair manufacturers and General Furnishers … upwards of 50 years’, announced, Sussex Agricultural Express, 20 April 1839. Goods to be sold at ‘a very considerable REDUCTION IN PRICE … as the whole must be cleared by Midsummer next …’. Sale re-advertised, 1 June 1839, and public auction by Verral & Son announced, 8 and 15 June 1839.
