Bevan, William (1685-1686)
Bevan, William
Conwy, Caernarfonshire, Wales; carpenter (fl. 1685-86)
This man was recorded in a document of 1686 which stated that Bevan was paid for ‘cutting cleaving and binding… laths’ while his father, Evan ap Rees, was paid for ‘cutting cleaving and hewing… trennalls.’ Bevan was perhaps the same man as recorded in another document of May 1685 as a ‘carpenter’, and of September 1685 as a ‘wheelwright’.
