They are cited in Gillows’ correspondence in June 1800 when they wrote to Charles Raworth at Benson & Sons requesting him to take the dimensions and a plan of a sideboard table. Charles Raworth was also employed by Gillows to call on their Manchester customers who had problems with their furniture in 1800.
