Baylis, William Henry
45 Wells Street, Oxford Street, London; carver (fl.1862-82)
Carver who exhibited a mirror frame at the 1862 International Exhibition in London. Also carved two oak bookcases designed by the architect Charles Forster Hayward and made by the firm John Howard & Sons, 1862-1863.
Baylis remained at 45 Wells Street until at least 1882 [London Post Office Directory (1882)].
