London; carpenter and cabinet maker (fl.1767- 1776)

Narrow Street, Ratcliffe (1767-68); and 17 Ships Alley, Wellclose Square (1776).

Bay was declared bankrupt [Gents Magazine, January 1767, and Public Advertiser, 11 April 1768].

He took out a Sun Insurance policy in 1776 totalling £300 including cover for utensils and stock [Guildhall Library, Sun MS vol. 249, p.457].
