Census show Barton, b. 1798, listed at 78 High Street, Windsor as cabinet maker and upholsterer (1841) and employing 3 men and 1 woman (1851) and at 55 High Street employing 2 men and 1 boy (1861).     

Recorded in the Lord Chamberlain’s accounts 1870 and 1880 at 55 High Street and the Royal Collection Trust holds a birch and rush seated child's chair (RCIN 33185), click here.
