Walworth Road, London; bedstead manufacturer & retailer (fl.1881-86)

The Furniture Gazette (19 February 1881) reported that the basement store of Baker’s premises at 208 Walworth Road was seriously damaged by fire with the shop and accommodation upstairs suffering damage from smoke, heat and water.  

W. Baker possibly related to Mr ? Baker, listed in The Furniture Gazette: Classified List of the Furniture, Upholstery, and Allied Trades (1886) at 46 – 50 Walworth Road as bedstead manufacturer & retailer.
