Baker, Thomas

1 Christopher Street, Hatton Wall, London; cabinet maker and upholsterer (fl.1839-71)

Recorded in 1839 and listed in the London Post Office Directories 1845 & 1871 as cabinet maker.

He employed Henry Price, maker of furniture for William Morris & Edward Burne-Jones at their rented rooms at Red Lion Square, and possible maker of The Prioress's Tale wardrobe, a wedding present for William & Jane Morris.
