Armour, Henry & Henry junior

London; cabinet maker, upholsterer and frame maker (fl.1826-77)

Henry Armour was recorded as cabinet maker & upholsterer at 3 Brompton Place, Brompton in 1826.

The 1851 census recorded an upholsterer named Henry Armour (aged 23) living in Little Titchfield Street. This was presumably the son of Henry Armour.

By 1876 he was advertising in The Furniture Gazette as a wholesale upholsterer and frame manufacturer at 122 Euston Road, January 1876 and continuing to do so throughout 1876 and 1877. The Furniture Gazette [26 May 1877] reported the liquidation of his business on 30 May 1877.
