Commissioned 30 May 1723 to make a pulpit for St Mary Woolnoth, London, at a cost of £120. The carvers were Thomas Darby and Gervase Smith. John Robins supplied an ‘Iron Rail (to ye pulpit & Readers Desk)’. Apleby also worked at Christ Church Spitalfields (1725-27), but the final bill for his work there was paid to his widow Susanna.
