Named in the Gillow records as carving trusses on bookcase. [Westminster Ref. Lib., Gillow 344/100, p. 2006]. A signature in pencil ‘Anderton’? has been recorded under a pair of shell back hall chairs attributed to Gillow, dating to c.1810-20. Sold Bonham’s New Bond Street, 21 November 2012, lot 171.
