Allen, Charles

London, Paris, then Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; upholsterer (fl.1771-1774)

Allen advertised in Penn'a Packet on 3 October 1771 that he was lately from London and Paris and had learnt his trade from Mr Bradshaw and Monsieur Fleuri respectively. 

By 1774 he was trading from the sign of the Crown and Jewels in Front Street.
