Allan, John

Liverpool, Lancashire; cabinet maker (fl.1804–39)

Trading at 7 Back Jackson Street in 1812 and in same street at no. 1 in 1837. He had moved to 7 Heath Street, Toxteth Park by 1839.

Apprenticed to William Harvey in 1804 and admitted a freeman by servitude on 12 October 1812. Registers desribe him as a cabinet maker and ‘now mariner’ [Liverpool freemen register].
