John Addison (address not recorded) supplied a pair of 36 inch globes ‘elegantly mounted in richly carved mahogany frames and the metallic parts made of mosaic gold’ to George IV in November 1829 at a cost of £157 16s [Windsor Record Archive, 25447].
The probate will of globe maker, John Addison, of St Pancras, London (1847), is lodged at the National Archives (ref. PROB. 11/2058/363.
