Abbis, Thomas

Edmonton, London; upholder (fl. 1722–78)

The son of the surgeon, Nicholas Abbis of Peckham, apprenticed to Wall Tidmarsh on 6 July 1715. Admitted a freeman of the Upholders’ Company on 5 September 1722 by servitude.

Bound Zachariah Clarke as apprentice in 1728.
